IPC East-side Open Play

Unless otherwise specified, Open Play is coordinated with an IPC Court Moderator.

You do not need to be a paid member or have a partner to play. You DO need to have a Court Reserve account. You can create your free account at CourtReserve.com or by using the Court Reserve App. After you've created your account, add "Indianapolis Pickleball Club" to your organizations.

Except for "Open Play All Levels," players sign up for Open Play by skill level - Click Here to See Our Skill Level Guidelines.

In order to participate in the Advanced (4.0+), Competitive (3.5-3.99) and Intermediate (3.0-3.49) Open Play sessions, players must have an IPC Verified Skills rating. This skills rating can be obtained by doing one of the following:
1) linking your DUPR account to your CourtReserve account if you have a DUPR that is accurate (instructions can be found here)
2) taking a screen shot of your PickleballBrackets.com with your name and doubles or mixed doubles rating and email it to us, or
3) registering and attending a 1-hour IPC Skills Assessment session. If you need a temporary rating for Open Play while you await your Skills Assessment, please contact us.

Standard rate for an Open Play session is $15. Discount may apply based on your Membership Level.

If you are a Guest and want to register for an Advanced (4.0+), Competitive (3.5-3.99) or Intermediate (3.0-3.49) Open Play Session, please create a free account in Court Reserve, add "Indianapolis Pickleball Club," select Guest Account, and link your DUPR account if you have one. Give us a call at 317-981-4064 during regular business hours (Weekdays 8am-8pm, weekends 9:30am-2pm) and we will register you for your correct level.

Waitlist: When an Open Play session reaches its maximum registration, players have the option of joining the waitlist. If a spot opens up due to a withdrawal, all players on the waitlist will receive an e-mail (make sure you have opted into the "Waitlist - Availability Notice" email in CourtReserve, the email will come from notifications@courtreserve.com and the subject will start with "Openings Now Available") and the first player to register will receive the available spot. Players on the waitlist must not show up to the club expecting to participate unless they have registered for the event.

Cancellation & Fees: Full refunds will be granted if players cancel their registration prior to an hour before Open Play. Players who cancel after these windows have lapsed will be charged for Open Play. Players who arrive late or leave early may be charged a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee will be the full regular price which is $15 for Open Play.

Arriving Early: Players must not arrive more than 15 minutes early to open play. Players arriving more than 15 minutes early may be asked to stay in the lobby or lounge. Players may warm up 15 minutes before open play begins if court space allows. Players who want court access more than 15 minutes early must reserve a court.

Arriving Late: Players who arrive more than 20 minutes late to an Open Play session will be marked as a no-show and may be charged a cancellation fee.

Leaving Early: Players who leave more than 20 minutes early from an Open Play session will be marked as a no-show and may be charged a cancellation fee.
