If youāve spent enough time at Indianapolis Pickleball Club, you already know how we operate ā we play hard, we play often, and sometimes⦠our bodies remind us weāre not made of carbon fiber. š
Thatās exactly why weāre excited to announce something big for our players: the new Recovery Zone at IPC, created in partnership with Forte Sports Medicine & Orthopedics.
And this isnāt just any partnership ā itās a collaboration led by one of our own: IPC member and sports-medicine expert Angie Stevenson. š
Why IPC Built a Recovery Zone
We kept seeing the same thing over and over:
Players grinding through back-to-back games, loading up on open play sessions, drilling in the morning, competing at night⦠and then waking up feeling like someone replaced their joints with rusty door hinges. š¦“āļø
To keep you playing more and hurting less, we needed a smarter way to support recovery inside the club ā not just at home.
So we stepped up.
What Youāll Find Inside the Recovery Zone
Think of it as your post-pickleball pit stop:
š§ Stretching Tools
Bands, rollers, and gear designed to loosen what the game tightens.
š“ Light-Recovery Bikes
Perfect for flushing the legs after long rallies or warming up before you hit the courts.
š Injury-Prevention + Rehab Resources
Curated directly by Forte Sports Medicineās team, giving you guidance you can trust ā especially if youāre managing a tweak, sprain, or recurring issue.
Whether youāre rehabbing something specific or you just want to stay limber between sessions, this space was built for exactly that.
A Partnership That Makes Sense
Forte Sports Medicine knows athletes.
IPC knows pickleball players.
Together?
Weāre creating a smarter path for sustainable, long-term playĀ ā because your pickleball journey shouldnāt be limited by stiffness, soreness, or lack of recovery knowledge.
And with Angie Stevenson guiding the collaboration, the Recovery Zone reflects what our club stands for: community, performance, and taking care of our players.
Who Itās For
Players dealing with nagging elbow pain
New members getting used to the volume of play
Competitive players pushing for higher DUPR ratings
Seniors staying active and mobile
Anyone who just wants to feel better after a few too many dinks and drives
If youāre in our building, this space is for you. š
IPCās Mission: Keep You on the Court
At the end of the day, this new Recovery Zone is more than a room with stretching gear. Itās a commitment ā from IPC to you ā that weāre invested in helping you play strong, play smart, and play for years to come.
Welcome to the next evolution of pickleball at Indianapolis Pickleball Club. See you in the Recovery Zone. šš„
